1. To ensure food security, market system linkages, diversification of products, safe and quality production systems will be promoted. 2. Livestock and poultry disease control and surveillance, improvement of quality of medical care and modernization of disease detection laboratories. 3. Artificial insemination technology will continue to expand to increase milk and meat production.
4. Expansion of cultivation of improved varieties of grass for animal nutrition development, expansion of food processing technology, introduction of TMR technology, expansion of grass market and quality assurance of fodder will be strengthened. 5. The coverage of mobile court will be increased to follow the laws, rules and policies related to livestock along with training and yard meeting activities to increase the capacity of farmers.
